Parents could soon be able to see how much the school district is spending on their child’s education.

Sen. Rob Bradley (R-Fleming Island) is proposing a website tallying the federal, state and local dollars that go into each student’s education.  The final amount would be an estimate, but the measure includes a number of considerations like grade level to better approximate the number.  Florida’s Department of Financial Services would oversee the site, and Bradley’s proposal would set aside half a million dollars for the project.
