Under a new Florida law, private schools can build new campuses at houses of worship and other public spaces including old movie theaters.

A 19-year-old and the club where she worked as a stripper have sued Florida’s attorney general and two local prosecutors. They want to stop enforcement of a new Florida law prohibiting adult entertainment businesses from employing people who are under age 21.

Florida and Alabama banned the sale of cultivated meat and seafood, which is grown from animal cells. Other states and federal lawmakers also are looking to restrict it, arguing the product could hurt farmers and pose a safety risk to the public.

A farmworker housing bill, unanimously passed by the Florida House and Senate, was vetoed by Governor DeSantis Friday. He cited "illegal foreign workers" in his veto letter.
