Veterans living in Florida's 15th Congressional District, which includes parts of Hillsborough and Polk Counties, are invited to tell officials about the kind of care they've received through the VA medical system.
U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross (R-Lakeland) said in a statement that he wants to gather details on what works well and what needs improving within the Veteran's Health Administration.
The event will be July 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Temple Terrace City Hall, 11250 N. 56th Street.
Staff from Ross' office will be there as will representatives from the James A. Haley VA Hospital and members of Veterans Services from both Polk and Hillsborough counties.
The event is similar to other recent "veteran intakes" held by U.S. Rep. David Jolly (R-Seminole) and U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-Tarpon Springs).
