Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America hosts Wear Orange - A National Gun Violence Awareness event

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America hosts Wear Orange - A National Gun Violence Awareness event

Join the Hillsborough/Pasco Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America volunteers on National Gun Violence Awareness Day as we watch our beautiful city of Tampa light up in ORANGE in honor of the 120 Americans who are killed by guns and hundreds wounded every day. We will hear from survivors of gun violence and the community partners who are doing the hard work to fight against it each day. We will also have local student art on display.

Wear an orange shirt and bring a sign. If you are gun violence survivor, bring a picture of your loved one. We will embark on a short Peace Walk down the Riverfront at 7pm.

*This is a family friendly event. We will have activities for children available.
