If you're looking to grab a deal in your own backyard, the Tampa Downtown Partnership has launched a discounted pass to check out various locations in Downtown.
- entry into three museums (Henry B. Plant Museum, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Tampa Bay History Center)
- a ticket to catch a movie at the Tampa Theatre and
- value-added deals for the TECO Line Streetcar and six restaurants downtown.
The deal is a way to let people know what Downtown Tampa has to offer.
John Sansone works with the Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar, one of the participating restaurants. Sansone says Downtown has a life that gets overlooked.
"There's just a lot of diversity, there's a lot of people, there's a lot of events that go on that I think a lot of people miss. They think of downtown as just being sleepy and it's not that any longer," he says.
The Downtown A&E pass is worth almost $80 dollars but can be purchased for $30 and it's valid through September 30.
The passes can be purchased at:
- Florida Museum of Photographic Arts
- Henry B. Plant Museum
- Tampa Bay History Center
- Tampa Theatre
