The Tampa Bay Rays are still in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs, but you wouldn't know from all the empty seats at Tropicana Field the past few nights.

This is the last home stand for the Rays and season ticket holder Brett Morgan wants to see those empty seats filled.

Morgan's  "Top Off The Trop" campaign is an effort to try and sell out Wednesday's Rays home game against the Texas Rangers which is being televised on ESPN.

So far, "Top Off The Trop" has sold sold 2,000 tickets to 64 Bay Area businesses according to Morgan.

"I'm just a rabid baseball fan who at the end of the day wanted to set out, in a short period of time and unite people from small-medium businesses in the bay area and get them to go to a Rays game," Morgan said. "And in large part, I feel we have succeeded."

Morgan plans to make "Top Off The Trop" a yearly event.
