Road Closures Due to Flooding in Hillsborough County

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, due to the heavy rains Monday morning, the following roads have been closed as of 2 PM:

  • Livingston north of Sinclair Hills and at 131st
  • Livingston between Sinclair Hills and Vandervort
  • Ehrlich at Winterwind, Brookshire and Casey
  • Dawnview at Northdale
  • VanDyke east of Dale Mabry
  • Gibson between 56th and 58th
  • Dale Mabry at Bearss
  • 143rd between 12th and 15th
  • South Village at Dale Mabry
  • Dawnview and Casey
  • Dawnview and Willow Run
  • Hillsborough and Hanley
  • Grainery and Buckeye
  • Sawyer and Clifton
  • Sligh and Hesperides

There is a tree down on power lines at Livingston Ave. and Victarra Circle, and the westbound lanes are blocked on Hillsborough Ave. and George Road.

There is street flooding in the following locations:

  • 15002 Naples Place 
  • 2221 132nd Avenue
  • Memorial and Dana Shores
  • Hillsborough and Hanley
  • Paula and Hanley
  • 6002 Hubert Avenue North
  • 17897 Boy Scout Road
  • Patterson and Silver Dollar
  • Golf Club and South Village
  • Bearss west of Dale Mabry
  • Causeway Boulevard and 78 Street area (Clifford Sample neighborhood)

The following libraries have been closed due to street flooding:

  • Charles J Fendig Public Library
  • West Tampa Branch Library
  • Town 'N Country Regional Public
  • Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library

Sandbag availability has been extended until midnight at three locations:

  • 8718 Old Big Bend Road, Gibsonton
  • 4702 Sydney Road, Plant City
  • 9805 Sheldon Road, Tampa

The Bible-Based Fellowship shelter is open but not accepting pets. The address is 8718 N. 46th St., Tampa. 

Residents in Tampa can report flooding issues 24 hours a day at 813-274-3101 and to report tree limbs blocking the roads, call 813-274-5744.
