Florida Matters: USFSP Students & Presidential Politics

Judithanne McLauchlan
USFSP Road To The White House students.

College students in the Road To The White House course at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg have just returned from working on the New Hampshire primary. This week on Florida Matters (Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 a.m.), they join us to talk about what it's like to be up close to the candidates and their campaigns.

We sit down with student Samantha Kendall, who worked on the Bernie Sanders campaign; student Terran Winegeart, who worked on the Donald Trump campaign; professor Judithanne McLauchlan; and WUSF’s Mark Schreiner, who reported from the New Hampshire campaign trail and will feature more from the Road to the White House course on an upcoming University Beat.
