It’s time once again to lace up your running shoes, as Miles for Moffitt is coming up at USF on May 12th. This week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7 has a preview of the event, which has raised over 800-thousand dollars for research at Moffitt Cancer Center.
A record crowd is expected at the USF Tampa campus to take part in the 1, 3.1 and 5 mile walks and runs. There will also be a kid's dash and a ceremony honoring cancer survivors.
Online registration closes Sunday, May 6th at midnight, and entry fees increase on Monday the 7th.
