Baby Cheetahs Born at Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens has made room for two new residents.  The Tampa-based theme park says its animal care team is providing 'round the clock care for 3-month-old cheetahs, Tendai, which means "thankful," and Thabo, which means "joy."

The births are part of Busch Gardens' role in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) list of vulnerable species. Busch Gardens says when the cubs are old enough, they may become part of the park's cheetah breeding program.

For now, visitors can see the cubs in the Edge of Africa inside the park.  But once they're older, they will take their place in Cheetah Run at Busch Gardens.

I love telling stories about my home state. And I hope they will help you in some way and maybe even lift your spirits.
