The baseball coach at a private school in Bradenton says he suspended at least 15 players after an incident of locker-room hazing.
Inspiration Academy's baseball director, Mario Jimenez, told the Bradenton Herald that any player in the locker room during the incident last week was suspended for one to three games.
According to the Herald, the hazing involved actions called "impossible sit-ups" that initially pin down blindfolded victims before they're hurtled face-first into someone's buttocks.
Jimenez said he didn't think the stunt was funny and he didn't want his players accepting roles as bystanders "when something worse happens at the college level."
The first game of the suspension was Friday and the last will be Wednesday.
Inspiration Academy is an independent Christian school for students in grades six through 12 and post-graduate programs.
