Whatever Happened To That Chair Clint Eastwood 'Interviewed' During The RNC?

YouTube

During last summer's Republican National Convention, countless luminaries took to the stage of the Tampa Bay Times Forum: party nominee Mitt Romney, GOP rising stars Marco Rubio and Chris Christie.

But one of the biggest stars to grace the stage didn't have a name at all. It was a chair.

In a speech later spoofed by comedian Stephen Colbert and the cast of Saturday Night Live, Clint Eastwood interrogated an invisible Pres. Barack Obama about the "national disgrace" that was the American economy. You'll recall:

We know what happened to Obama -- last week was his second inauguration. But what became of the chair?

CNN reports that it has found a home in the Washington, DC, office of Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee. The chair sits among other memorabilia, including a cheesehead autographed by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

"I host a food podcast" is a great icebreaker at parties.
