This weekend, Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry opens the doors on the world premiere of "Sea Monsters Revealed."
And if a fisherman told the tale of how big some of these fish are, you would never believe him.
Take the giant squid, borrowed from Mote Marine Aquarium. It's about half the size of a regular school bus. And the manta ray with a 6-foot wingspan. Most of the creatures are preserved through a process called plastinization -- the same one employed in the controversial "Bodies" exhibition at MOSI.
MOSI President Wit Ostrenko, himself a Marine Scientist and Oceanographer says, "This exhibit is like walking through the oceans, but the water has been taken away, but not only are the creatures still there, but you can see inside these amazing creatures."
