Down syndrome

Adults with Down syndrome previously had very limited options in Orlando, but the AdventHealth clinic is opening a wide access of treatments for patients young and old.

They can no longer can be denied lifesaving care, including surgeries for heart defects. But now, aging adults with Down syndrome face a health system unprepared to care for them.
