Another protest is planned outside Emerson Alumni Hall during Sasse's interview.

“We are extremely disappointed that decisions to modify our approach are no longer being guided by science and data,” USF Faculty Senate President Timothy Boaz said.

Timothy Boaz had issues with Currall's handling of possible development of the USF Forest Preserve and changes to the College of Education, but praised his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and willingness to work with faculty on budget issues.

With development ideas due on Monday, the USF Faculty Senate passed a resolution stating they are “vehemently opposed to any development or destruction of the forest preserve.”

Earlier this month, the USF Faculty Senate published a letter detailing their concerns about planned budget cuts. On Tuesday, the Board of Trustees got a chance to hear those concerns firsthand.
