University of South Florida graduate and Fulbright Scholar winner Demelza Hays, who was profiled on WUSF's University Beat last year, recently traveled through South and Central Asia. She is now sharing her stories with USF World.
In Kerala, I attended the South and Central Asia Fulbright Conference. At the conference, I attended several presentations on various topics ranging from, “Cross- border and Cross-cultural Business between China and Kazakhstan” to”A Comparative Analysis of the Regulatory Paradigm for Corporate Social Responsibility in the United States and India”. In addition, I met some very interesting people including a few young aspiring objectivists (such as myself). On the last day of the conference, Fulbright arranged for us to do some sightseeing around Cochin.
Hays has also been accepted to attend the Toulouse School of Economics in Toulouse, France, next year.
