While the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks prepare to face off in Super Bowl XLIX Sunday, a University of South Florida student who is living out his twin brother's dreams will appear on NBC's pregame show.
USF Morsani College of Medicine student and retired U.S. Air Force Captain Ed Woodward was interviewed by the network earlier this month for a report that will air during the show, which starts at noon Sunday. He was also interviewed by Al Roker on Saturday morning's Today Show on NBC.
Woodward, a Tillman Scholar, earned a master's degree in medical sciences from USF. He's currently studying at USF to become a neurologist specializing in brain health. He hopes to help veterans with traumatic brain injuries.

Woodward's twin brother, Gene, was also a USF medical student when he was killed in 2000 in a car accident involving a drunk driver.
A few years later, Ed Woodward was removed from service as an Air Force fighter pilot due to a stroke. After rehabilitation and a bout with depression, Woodward decided to follow his brother Gene's dream of earning a medical degree.
