Poll Sees Hope for Democrats in 2006

A year-end NPR political poll looks at where Democrats and Republicans stand. The poll finds that Democrats, hoping to paint Republicans as part of a "culture of corruption," are doing better as 2006 approaches. The poll, part of a regular series for NPR, was conducted by Democrat Stan Greenberg and Republican Glen Bolger.
