Gregory Porter brought his cousin Betty Harden to the StoryCorps Booth at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg to share her story.

Betty became a part of St. Pete history one June day in 1958 when she and her friends went swimming at Spa Beach, a place long protected by law as being for whites only.
