If you're heading home after the holidays, or just hitting the road to squeeze in that last bit of fun before going back to work or school next week, there are a few websites you might want to check out.

First, for air travelers, there's Tampa International Airport's flight status page where you can look up information about arrivals and departures. Officials there sometimes put out notices to travelers on the airport's Facebook and Twitter accounts.

As of 10 a.m., airport officials report 52 flights delayed arrivals and departures at TIA and 32 cancellations.

If you're looking for information about other airports around the world, there's FlightAware.com.

In addition to a live running tote board of flight delays or cancelations by airline and origin and destination airports, the site offers a "Misery Map," which offers a graphic comparison of flights arriving or departing on-time versus those delayed or cancelled at various major airports around the U.S. (note: TIA isn't normally pictured, unless the "misery level" is severe).

For example, as of 10 a.m. today, FlightAware reports more than 1,400 flights delayed within, into or out of the U.S. today, and more than 1,800 flights canceled. That's due mainly to the winter storm that's hammered the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic U.S. over the last few days.

And for road warriors, a good site to know is the Florida Department of Transportation's My Florida 511, which alerts travelers to major delays and road closures, along with estimated travel times and cameras for 6 Florida regions.
