Cost for the tour is $20 for Arts Advocates members and $24 for non-members. The Art Ovation Hotel features changing art exhibitions in the lobby and first floor of the hotel. The featured exhibit of this tour offered by Arts Advocates, “Disappearing Signs of Life,” shows the work of artist Peter Jacob Christ, a member of the Florida Watercolor Society. Peter blends the fading imagery of 1950s North American signage, typography, toys, and everyday objects with the sensual qualities of animals and the natural landscape. The one-hour tour starts at 1 p.m. and includes a glass of wine or a soft drink. Guests are welcome to visit the hotel rooftop with a 360-degree view after the tour. Parking is available in the nearby Palm Street garage.
