Cracker Country, Tampa’s only outdoor living history museum, offers FREE admissions on September 28, 2024.
Tour historic buildings and grounds that represent home life, commerce, and transportation as it was in many rural Florida communities just before the turn of the 20th century. Along the way, enjoy demonstrations of traditional crafts and skills and participate in chores and games of the past. See a model train display, meet a 19th-century Florida cow hunter, and help with everyday chores like churning butter and laundry with an old-fashioned washboard.
