American Stage presents "The Colored Museum" as the St. Pete theatre company's second show of the season. Watch 11 vignettes detailing satirical experiences of African American culture come to life on stage. Written by playwright George C. Wolfe, this racially-charged production explores themes from beauty standards in the Black community to the history of slavery in America.
See it on the Mainstage Wednesday-Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday-Saturday at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m.
