Each year Moffitt Cancer Center hosts an annual luncheon in Sarasota that benefits breakthroughs in Moffitt's cancer research.

To advance and accelerate the most promising cancer research and treatments, Moffitt Cancer Center established the Research Innovation Fund in 2020. In partnership with Moffitt leaders in each of the research areas, the fund will provide seed funding for meritorious projects and key research initiatives at the center. This includes new research development studies, clinical trials, and treatments that are at the forefront of making the next remarkable scientific breakthrough for our patients.

Gifts to Moffitt Cancer Center help advance powerful cancer-fighting programs, including innovative research and treatments, education and community outreach, and the highest level of patient and family care.

The Manatee River Garden Club will host its annual flower show, themed: “Color Me Florida”, on Friday and Saturday, April 4-5, 2025. Admission is free to the public and offers a fun, lighthearted look at Florida’s colorful icons expressed in floral design, and horticulture exhibits. Refreshments served.

Leaps of Love is an inaugural event benefiting The Payton Wright Foundation. The Foundation supports families whose child is undergoing brain or spinal cord cancer with their everyday bills such as mortgage, groceries, car payments, gas, rent, or even funeral expenses.

The 25th Annual “Silver Jubilee” Home Tour for Old Seminole Heights is a celebration of people, places, architecture, and history in one of Tampa’s oldest and most treasured neighborhoods. Come explore the neighborhood’s historic homes! This year’s tour will center on the Historic District and will feature beautiful homes, vibrant local businesses, and the beloved Hillsborough High School.

Pick up your wrist band, brochure with a map of the homes, as well as a description of the homes and businesses, at Hillsborough High School where parking will be available. Walking, biking, and driving directions will be provided. Tampa Police Department will be on site to manage crossings at major streets. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to support neighborhood charities.

This event is rain or shine, and there are no refunds.

The Children's Cancer Center cordially invites you to be a private member of the Social Society! Sip in Secret for one night only.
