Art lovers in Pinellas County have a new virtual watering hole. ArticulateSuncoast.com is an offshoot of Creative Pinellas, a nonprofit started last year to promote and fund the local arts scene.
The new website is anchored by six blogs:
- Art and Design.
- Performing Arts.
- Music.
- Film and Literature.
- The Scene (parties, benefits and fashion shows).
- Fringe (way-outside-the-box visual and performing arts).
The roster of bloggers includes some familiar names on the local arts scene, such as print journalist Gina Vivinetto and spoken-word poet David William Durney.
The website also includes event listings, a venue database, photo and video galleries and a breakdown of Pinellas County's major art districts.
