Arthur Guilford of USF Sarasota-Manatee doesn't just watch WUSF TV. He lives it.

I would not go through a Monday night without watching Rick Steves. He's just perfect. In fact, we've planned whole vacations based on watching him. One time, I'll never forget, we were sitting in the living room watching a show on Turkey. I turned to my wife, and I said, 'book it.'
And, within a few months, we were in Turkey."
I think the Tampa Bay area is all the richer because we've had WUSF for the past 50 years. And I really do believe WUSF is golden.
