It may not be exactly like running with the bulls in Pamplona, but you can run with the bulls this Saturday in Dade City.
The Inaugural Great Bull Run will be held this Saturday at the Little Everglades Ranch. Chief operating officer for the Great Bull Run, Rob Dickens says this event has something for everyone and isn't just about the Bull Run.
“What they do in Spain, in Pamplona is that they run through the city streets with the bulls, what we do here is a little different, we get the big outdoor venue and we run with the bulls there, everyone should know it, it's a great time, there is a lot of things going on,” Dickens said. “Besides the running of the bulls, you have the tomato food fight, there is music, beer, food and mechanical bulls, it's a big outdoor festival with lots of entertainment.”
The event costs $10 for spectators, $45 to participate in Tomato Royale and $65 to participate in both the Bull run and the Tomato Royale. Doors open for the event at 9:30 am on Saturday at Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City
