StoryCorps Tampa Bay: Wonders Up Close

StoryCorps
Renata Schwartz stepped into the StoryCorps booth last year to tell her story.

In this installment of StoryCorps Tampa Bay, Renata Schwartz tells us about her trip to Africa. As a part of the English commonwealth, she was able to easily travel overseas. There, she encountered wild elephants, a tribe of Pygmy people, and found herself learning to communicate without words.

Music:

“Breakdown” by Jack Johnson from the album, In Between Dreams.

This week's StoryCorps Tampa Bay was produced by Yoselis Ramos.

StoryCorps Tampa Bay airs every Monday on WUSF 89.7 at 8:44 a.m. during Morning Edition and at 5:44 p.m. during All Things Considered.
