StoryCorps Tampa Bay: Homeschooled Philanthropist-in-the-Making

StoryCorps
Denise Ford and Nykko Ford recorded their interview at the Storycorps booth in St. Petersburg in 2014.

In this installment of StoryCorps Tampa Bay, a mother and son discuss his homeschooling experience. Denise Ford had 10 children, some of which were homeschooled so she could incorporate religion into the curriculum.

Nykko Ford tells us about the benefits of being homeschooled and one thing in particular he learned that made his mom proud.

Music:

“Hall of Fame” by The Script featuring Will.i.am from the album, #3.

This week's StoryCorps Tampa Bay was produced by Yoselis Ramos.
