Artists have been a part of Tampa’s Gasparilla annual event for almost half a century. This year, more than 250 artists displayed their works in the 47th Annual Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts. And the judges awarded $76,500 in prize money to more than three dozen winning artists.
But what used to be a weekend show has become a month of events highlighting the arts.
- Gasparilla Music Fest is March 11-12 at Curtis Hixon Park
- Gasparilla Film Fest is ongoing now until March 9, Thursday mostly in Ybor City
- Gasparilla Fringe Fest is March 31 at the Tampa Museum of Art
- Gasparilla International Food Festival is March 26 at the Ybor City Centennial Park
