Green Is Our Color Earth Day Celebration
Support Youfit Health Club and partake in their mission to plant 140 trees across nine states in just one hour. Earth Day Movie Night: "Home"
The 2009 documentary titled "Home" by Yann Arthus-Bertrand will be screened at Studio@620 in St. Petersburg. "Home" is shot entirely from an aerial point of view, taking over 18 months to complete. The Suncoast Sierra Club and Gulf Restoration Network are the sponsors for Earth Day Movie Night. The screening starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Earth Day with the Rays
Celebrate Earth Day with the Rays as they take on the Minnesota Twins at 7:10 p.m. Purchase a discounted seat in the lower level and receive a recyclable Tampa Bay Rays Earth Day tote bag for $30 ($45 value). 2nd Annual Electronics Recycling Collection Event for Earth Day
Businesses and households can drop off their electronics for safe and proper recycling to Creative Recycling Systems (CRS). Free electronics recycling is available during the second annual Earth Day recycling event with WMNF, a community radio station and CRS. Everyone is invited to clean out their closets and bring by computers, cell phones, and most other electronics that “plug into the wall”.

Call to Duke Energy for Solar & Energy Efficiency Investment
Twenty-four federal, state, county and city elected officials will join with members of the Sunshine State Clean Energy Coalition to deliver a letter asking Duke Energy to deepen its investments energy efficiency and solar power in Florida. The press conference will be held at noon in Williams Park, directly across from Duke’s Florida Headquarters.
