The Florida Orchestra has begun its 48th season, and the orchestra has a new music director. 

This week on Florida Matters (Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 a.m.), we feature a newsmaker special with Michael Francis, who has gained a reputation as an international conductor, having been at the helm of major orchestras across North America, Asia and Europe.
