Florida Matters Preview: Life After The Parkland Shooting

PolitiFact Florida

This week on Florida Matters, we hear the story of a recent graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland who survived the February mass shooting that killed 17.

In this preview, we meet 18-year-old Leonor Muñoz. She started recording her experiences shortly after the shooting and continued to do so leading up to her graduation last week. She speaks to us as she prepares for the March for Our Lives demonstration that students led across the country in March.

You can hear Leonor's entire audio diary and a conversation with reporters who have been covering the Parkland shooting and its aftermath this week on Florida Matters.
