Authorities have identified a Leesburg family of three they say died after being hit by a drunk driver who catapulted their car into Tampa Bay.

Florida Highway Patrol officials say 25-year-old Joshua Burbank lost control of his car on I-275 on the Howard Frankland Bridge on Friday night and hit another vehicle, killing 76-year-old Robert Getter, 73-year-old Karen Getter and their son, 52 year-old Sam Getter. Authorities said their 2012 GMC Sierra flipped several times before going over a concrete barrier wall and landing into the water below.

Burbank was charged with three counts of DUI manslaughter, careless driving and DUI property damage. He was released Saturday night from the Pinellas County Jail after posting $61,000 bail.
