Police are continuing their investigation in the shooting death of a 17-month-old girl at a Tampa apartment complex Sunday afternoon, officials said.
Amaya Shafi suffered a single gunshot wound at the Clipper Bay Apartments, 6727 S. Lois Ave., Tampa police said.
The shooting was reported at 4:12 p.m. Sunday. Shafi’s parents took her to a hospital, where she died, investigators said.
No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
