WUSF-USF Zimmerman Rush Family Digital News internOne of my favorite things to do is listen.
I love listening to people’s feelings, problems and passions.
I realized I could utilize my love of listening six years ago in high school when I was asked to join the yearbook class.
I can interview people, listen to them speak and share their stories. I learned that everyone has a story to tell, and it’s important they get told.
I’m currently a Junior at the University of South Florida, studying Mass Communications with a focus in Broadcast News. I have a minor in Environmental Science, as I love to cover environmental issues.
I hope to use the experiences I gain at WUSF to become a better journalist and properly share stories in the community.
I feel incredibly fortunate to learn about the news industry alongside professionals.
