HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

Power Outages

Nearly 266,000 customers were without power at noon.

Schools

Hillsborough County schools are closed through at least Tuesday

Curfew

Tampa has lifted its curfew.

Roads

The Sunshine Skyway is closed.

MANATEE COUNTY

All emergency vehicles were called off the roads at 1 p.m. due to dangerous wind speeds.

Power outages

More than 120,000 customers were without power as of noon.

Schools

Manatee will make a decision about opening schools later today

Curfew

Manatee County has lifted its curfew.

Flooding

Flooding is expected on four Hillsborough County rivers today: Hillsborough River, Cypress Creek, the Little Manatee River and the Alafia River.

SARASOTA COUNTY

Power Outages

More than 163,000 customers were without power as of noon.

Schools

Sarasota County Schools will reopen Wednesday

PASCO COUNTY

Power Outages

Nearly 166,000 were without power at noon.

Schools

Pasco County schools are closed until Monday

Curfew

Pasco County lifted its curfew at 7 a.m. Monday.

PINELLAS COUNTY

Irma projections:

  • Tropical storm force winds from 2 pm Sunday to 11 am Monday
  • Hurricane force winds up to 115 mph from 7 pm Sunday to 3 am Monday
  • 24 hour rain forecast of 7 to 10 inches
  • Storm surge of 5 to 8 feet, around 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday

Pinellas County Schools will resume Wednesday

Curfew

St. Petersburg lifted its curfew. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has reopened the county.

Roads

The Sunshine Skyway is closed.

St. Petersburg is under a curfew until further notice.

POLK COUNTY

Power Outages

Nearly 217,000 customers were without power at noon

Schools

Polk County schools are closed until Monday

Damage

Polk County is reporting significant wind damage with trees, power lines and other obstructions in the roadways. The public is being advised not to drive before sunrise. Crews are working to identify hazards, report them, and schedule a response. To report hazards, call 863-401-2234 or 866-661-0228.

HERNANDO COUNTY

Hernando is under a boil water notice due to a water main break.
