- Tropical storm force winds from 2 pm Sunday to 11 am Monday
- Hurricane force winds up to 115 mph from 7 pm Sunday to 3 am Monday
- 24 hour rain forecast of 7 to 10 inches
- Storm surge of 5 to 8 feet, around 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday

Polk County schools are closed until Monday
Damage
Polk County is reporting significant wind damage with trees, power lines and other obstructions in the roadways. The public is being advised not to drive before sunrise. HERNANDO COUNTY
Hernando is under a boil water notice due to a water main break.
