MyFlorida.com
Florida Gov. Rick Scott before the Florida House.

Gov. Rick Scott will deliver his eighth and final State of the State address Tuesday on the opening day of the 2018 legislative session. WUSF will bring you special coverage of his speech throughout the day.

Tune into WUSF 89.7 Tuesday at 11 a.m. to hear Florida Matters host Carson Cooper and USF political scientist Dr. Susan MacManus deliver live coverage and analysis of the governor’s address.

Stay with us that hour as we’ll also broadcast responses to Scott’s speech from the legislature’s Democratic minority leaders, Sen. Oscar Braynon of Miami Gardens and Rep. Janet Cruz of Hillsborough County.

Join us again at 6:30 p.m. for highlights of both the State of the State address and the Democratic response on this week’s edition of Florida Matters.

You can also stream our coverage on www.wusfnews.org.
