Legoland Florida Locked Down After Concerning Note Found

Authorities say they closed Legoland Florida to new guests and prevented current guests from leaving for a short time after a concerning note was found in a family bathroom.

Winter Haven Police Chief Charlie Bird said during a news conference that the note was found around noon Wednesday. He didn't say specifically what was on the note.

Bird says Polk County deputies and FBI agents responded. Nothing dangerous was found during two sweeps of the park.

Guests already in the park were able to continue going on rides. Bird says the entire ordeal lasted about an hour.

Detectives are investigating to determine who wrote the note. Bird says that person could face criminal prosecution.
