Here's A List of Events Cancelled Because Of Tropical Storm Nestor

Tropical Storm Nestor is causing changes to a number of weekend events.

After talking to city officials, Friday night's performances of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday at Coachman Park were cancelled. Saturday and Sunday will go on as scheduled, but organizers say they will provide updates on the festival's website.

The St. Petersburg Science Festival and MarineQuest activities scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled.  A virtual science festival with links to all the exhibitor websites and short video clips will be available at the group's website and across all social media platforms. 

St. Petersburg College has moved its free Jazz on the Lawn event set for 6 tonight to the lobby of its Student Services building. 

Keep Pinellas Beautiful cancelled all beach cleanup events scheduled for Saturday. Updates on rescheduled site clean-ups will be posted on their Facebook page in the coming weeks. 

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which was scheduled to take place at Raymond James Stadium Saturday, has been postponed until Nov. 3. 

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office cancelled Palm Harbor's showing of Toy Story 4 at the Sundeman Complex. Organizers say they don't know if or when the event is being rescheduled but promised to keep residents updated.
