Kyanna Riggins is a digital news intern at WUSF Public Media for fall 2017.
The Ocala native is a senior at Southeastern University in Lakeland and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Journalism. She is excited to hear and share the stories of Tampa Bay community.
Kyanna was a digital media Intern at Ocala’s Star Banner newspaper in the summer of 2017.
Her journalistic interests include politics and foreign affairs. She plans to be a foreign correspondent in Tel Aviv. Her interest in the Middle East stems from her curiosity about the history and conflicts of the region.
