HostIn 2010, after spending 28 years in commercial FM radio, I finally got the opportunity to work at the station I listen to.
I came to the Tampa Bay area in 1986 and have worked a most of the stations that are on the dial, and a few that aren't. Among the highlights: playing country music at WQYK, and AC stations Mix-96, Kiss-FM, U-92 and Q-105.
I did wacky morning shows with Tom Rivers, Dave Mann, and for 17 years, Mason Dixon.
When not on the radio, I engineer sports events for radio. That work includes relationships with the Rays, Lightning and USF. I'm also a frequency coordinator for the NFL.
When I'm not in our Tampa studios, or at a sports event, my wife Alison and I can be found at our new home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.
