Rebekah Entralgo
Rebekah Entralgo is recent graduate of Florida State University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Editing, Writing and Media with double minors in Film Studies and Political Science. Even though her time at a university has ended, she's always looking for her next adventure.
When she wasn't in the classroom, Rebekah split her time between two radio stations: Florida State University's student-run radio station, WVFS, and WFSU, the NPR member station in Tallahassee. At WVFS, Rebekah served as assignments editor in the news department for two years, providing special reports on events in the FSU community. For WFSU, she pitched, edited, and produced stories for the radio and web. Working at two local stations has taught Rebekah primarily about the importance of community-driven stories. A podcast fiend, she has also completed freelance jobs for the Gimlet Media show, Science VS, as well as for the podcast Criminal: A Podcast.
A Miami native at heart, Rebekah is so happy to finally return to the city that has raised and embraced her large, Cuban family. She is especially grateful for the vibrant arts and culture here in Miami, as well as the abundance of Cuban bakeries. When she's not working with WLRN, you can probably find her guzzling coffee at local cafe or watching some movies at the O Cinema.
