After the Occupy Wall Street People and the anarchists seemingly fled downtown Tampa after several days of protests, the working class came out Wednesday outside the gates of the Republican National Convention. About 150 people - including postal workers, school employees and public officials - paraded through the downtown streets to petition for worker's rights.
One of them, Larry Milhorn, is a carpenter with the Polk County School System in Winter Haven. The public employee was taking part in the AFL-CIO's "Welcome to Romney's America" march, and was wearing a sash reading "Blue Collar." He spoke with WUSF's Steve Newborn.
