John Morgan Speaks to Tiger Bay Club About Medical Marijuana

www.forthepeople.com

John Morgan, an Orlando trial attorney known for his television and radio ads, played a large role in getting a constitutional amendment attempting to legalize medical marijuana on the Florida ballot in November.

On Friday at the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club in Tampa, he addressed critics who say he has a hidden agenda.

“There's been some conspiracy theorists that think that I did this to help Charlie Crist in his election. Well, nothing can be further from the truth,” Morgan said. “I'm not going to to spend almost $4 million of my own money to have some kind of scheme to get Charlie Crist elected. If I wanted to help Charlie Crist the way people say, I'd just write him a check for $4 million.”

Morgan said he backs medical marijuana because it works.
