A beach home owned by former Governor and current congressional candidate Charlie Crist is up for sale.
The Tampa Bay Times reports a Realtor's "available soon" sign sprouted at the 1,480-square- foot cottage Crist and his wife, Carole, bought last year when new congressional district boundaries were still uncertain. But once that issue was settled, the Crists found themselves with two homes in the same district.
The newspaper says that the home could be listed for as much as $1.3 million — nearly $400,000 more than the Crists paid a year ago.
Crist couldn't be reached for comment. Last summer, he acknowledged one reason he and his wife bought the house was because of uncertainty over the boundaries of a newly drawn district in Pinellas County.
