It's almost Election Day in Pinellas County. And Sunday, Nov. 5 is the early voting deadline.
The most high profile contest Tuesday in Pinellas County is the St. Petersburg mayoral race between current mayor Rick Kriseman and his challenger, former mayor Rick Baker.
Three city council seats are also up for grabs there, and voters in St. Pete will also decide several ballot issues.
Elsewhere in Pinellas County, Clearwater voters will decide on a referendum to amend the city's charter to allow changes to city-owned land along the downtown waterfront and in Coachman Park. In Seminole, two city council seats will be decided and there are 5 charter amendments on the ballot in Dunedin.
In all of Pinellas County, residents will vote on whether to approve a 10-year renewal of a one-cent sales tax widely known as the Penny for Pinellas. The penny is shared among the county's 24 cities to fund long-term, capital projects.
Early in-person voting ends at 5 pm Sunday at the Supervisor of Elections Offices in Clearwater, Largo, and St. Petersburg.
