Why Vaping Lung-Related Injuries Are On The Rise

Department of Defense
Vaping lung-related injuries have been increasing at a rapid rate. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE

Vaping lung-related injuries are on the rise, and there are still many unanswered questions as to why.

This week on Florida Matters, we take a closer look as to why this is a newfound health concern.

Host Robin Sussingham has an in-depth conversation with our guests as we learn about the injuries associated with vaping, such as popcorn lung -- which is irreversable tissue damage -- and noticeable DNA changes to the mouth.

We also hear about a bill presented to the Florida Legislature restricting the sales of any vape product to those 21 and older.
