Minutes before the game tipped off, the public address announced that the men's basketball student section would forever be named the “Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim student section."

Abdur-Rahim, 43, was described as an extraordinary husband, father and coach who made an incredible impact in just one year on the job.

The USF men's basketball team fell 70-65 at home in a second-round game, finishing with a school-record 25 wins this season.

Selton Miguel scored 19 points off the bench to lead the Bulls to their school-record 25th win of the season, 83-77.

The Bulls will travel to Orlando on Tuesday in the opening round of the NIT after missing out on the NCAA field of 68 following a semifinal loss in the American Conference tourney.

The Toronto Raptors, who will start the NBA season at Tampa's Amalie Arena, along with the Orlando Magic and the USF Bulls basketball teams, will all allow a limited number of fans into their games.

Fans will not be permitted to the Yuengling Center for the start of the USF basketball seasons, and officials say they will re-evaluate at a later date.
