Governor Rick Scott has signed a bill into law aimed at getting more murder witnesses to come forward.

A bill creating a uniform procedure for law enforcement agencies when it comes to conducting eyewitness interviews is on its way to the House floor.

Murder witnesses’ personal information would be exempt from Florida’s public records laws under a bill that passed its first House committee Wednesday.
